JD 2350 tractor are closed-center same as 1530. The valve that came with loader is possibly a converta-valve which means either open or closed by changing a plug. This plug has a quad-ring on inside of valve that has been known to blow out and cause similiar problem on other JD tractors! It is simple to check for leaking/wrong valve by disconnecting return line from tractor. Then crank tractor with both spools in neutral position and if oil comes out return line then valve is problem. Tx Jim
