He was so drunk he didn't know whether he was afoot or horseback. He was all lit up like Uncle Tipsy on Christmas. The neighbors didn't realize he drank, until he came home sober one night - the dog didn't recognize him and bit him. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
