They are basically the same as the oiled foam air cleaners that are used in lawn mowers. Since the company basically gears its advertising to "off roaders" and hot rodders, who are basically junior high or high school kids, I would be extremely suspect as to either the quality of their products, or the claims made about the 'advantages' of useing the product. If the product was as benficial as they would have you believe, why doesn't any manufacturer use them as OEM?
