We"ve had a field or 2 like that over the years. On year it was 10 acres on river bottom. Wild cucumber grew over the tops of the corn. Then to aggrivate matters, the river levels were up which tended to turn this field into quick sand. This feild would usually yeild 200 to 220 bu. per acre that year is was about 145. We pulled the 3010 in neutral with the PTO running the picker and a gravity box with a Cat D-6. Constant battle keeping the snapping rolls clear of vines. We should have charged admission when turkey season opened though.
