Just want to put up a shelter for for sure these 4-6 <3 month olds. I also am keeping my eye open to buy a couple bred beef cows this fall yet , or in the spring. Which would be utilizing it as well. The stucture will not be the only area they will be in. The "yard I am fencing up is about 100'x 300' +/-, which will open for them to move about. Adjacent to the "shelter", I am also building a small corral which should end up being 12'x 16', basically an extention of 12' from the open side(south) of the shelter-Which of course is railroad ties and cattle panels. I will continue to rear the week old calves to 7-8 weeks in my future shop shed where they are now in 4'x8'pens. So on that tid bit of info, any one see a problem with this set up.
