I got a lot of run-around until using Farm & Family. The first year - they charged us $500 for $250,000 in coverage plus we have to pay to subscribe to the Farm Bureau newsletter. But, every year they jack our rates us - this year by 40%. I called and asked if we are being targetted for the rate hikes - and they told me they raised everybody. So, we looking around again. So far, every agent I called - wants us to cancel our policy, then have his "new' company agents come here, look our place over, and then give us the new price. So far, we refuse to do it. I want a price BEFORE we sign on, not later. When we get all done, it might wind up that Farm & Family is the only way we can do it here in New York.
