Lost this tire on the horse trailer coming from N. Va on I95 Sat. night. On the side of I95 at night with 2 kids upset and 2 horses excited and stomping ain't a whole lotta fun. Bought a new tire this week and put it on today. Noticed the tire I paid for and had mounted was a ST225/75/D15. Tires on trailer are ST225/75/R15. I don't know what made me do this but I got the tape measure out and checked the circumference. New tire is ~2in shorter than the tires on the trailer. &ft~3in verse 7ft~5in. I measured the spare which did not have much tread wear.
Can I use this tire with any of the ones on the trailer or should I use it as the spare? What are my options.
