It is regular leaded that you used to buy at the gas station. You can burn unleaded in them, but remember these tractors were designed to burn leaded fuel. The valves in these tractors depend on it for lubrication. If you decide to use unleaded go to your parts store and get a lead substitute additive to mix with the unleaded. Hope this helps.
