In the past 35 yrs I jacked out a M IH and a tandem feed truck that went down, but got caught up and no one hurt.
I have also rebuilt dozens of hay mow floors that some one should have been killed in. Now we use RR beams on edge--solid without any floor boards. Never worry, and less over all cost, no loose nails etc.
On the fire dept, myself and two others snapped a rotten beam off and fell one story. Only minor broken bones, and a good education. In case this is a older post please read my new post called --old barns, thank you.
