Just read in the paper yesterday where a 79 year old man from Daykin, NE was killed working on the brakes of a farm truck. He'd crawled under the truck, and for some reason asked another man who was helping him to start the engine of the truck. The helper didn't realize the transmission was in gear.
The rear duals ran over him and he didn't make it. Accidents like that are always so needless. But, maybe they needed the truck in the field and were in a hurry, maybe were tired from long days harvesting, etc.
