I've got a case of Purolater's in the shop i got off ebay for about $20- they fit the Oliver 1600 and Massey 285, although it's not actually what is called for on the 285, but the specs are actually better for the 1600's filter anyway.
I buy other filters from Automotive Supply. They sell Hastings, and federated which are made by hastingas and use the same filter. My 88 F150 is a LF115. No idea what my car is, only bought one filter from them and still haven't put it on yet.
