Keep records. Take pictures. Find as many people he has conned that you can, like you are doing here. Send those records and pictures to the Sheriffs office of his county. This is what happened in NY state several years back and I was able to get most of what I had paid for. My deal was a tractor I bought and the fellow then started to sell parts off of it. The Sheriff Deputy even helped me load the tractor and parts and then offered to feed me supper at his house. The hood, grill, and manifold was not as pictured but I told the deputy I would except what was there rather than come back. I am in Ohio. Taking action will be the only way to stop this person. Just talking about it will not. Plenty of people to con that does not read this site.
