It never ceases to amaze me that all these folks think you must have 100 HP or more to mow with. That simply is not the case. A 75 HP tractor will handle a 15 foot heavy duty Bush Hog quite well. I and many other farmers here in KY have been pulling 15 footers for years with 50 HP tractors. I even pull one with my old M, and can pull it anywhere in anything. Also pull one with a 584 IH(52 HP). Have pulled a 20 footer with the 584 in lighter pasture clipping. Pulled 20 footer for many years with a 2940 JD. Never found anything I couldn't cut with it.
