You could try to find all the parts from a pickup that had a 440 in it - the big block chryslers will all bolt in the same. But the 383 will definately not bolt to your 360 bell housing. Also check to make sure the water outlets "radiator hoses" are on the same sides of the engine - the radiators may be different but I can't remember for shure?! I used to know but my mind is blurrier than it used to be. You are going to be in for a lot of work for a gain of only 23 cubic inches. If you are not worried about fuel economy you might as well go for a 440 since it will be the same amount of work. Just my buck fifty?
