When I run ethanol or methanol in my race car as opposed to race gas it take twice as much to do the same job. I admit that it has some other advantages, that's why we keep using it. But it also has some properties that would make it BAD for a street car.
If you think that leaving OLD gas in vehicle is a bad thing to do, try it with alcohol.
