Now the mini-excavator has finished in the garden, we have been carting away rubble and bringing back good quality top soil for the flower borders. Steve Parkes' normal 13 ton Komatsu excavator is working on a site on a field where there is sandy top soil. That little trailer of mine officially carries 3/4 ton, and those buckets hold around 1 ton each. We've been carting home 1 & 1/4 ton at a time !!! Tyres bulging and low gears up hills! David
