They're both good. We run Stihl here...largely because of the dealer. They have their problems like anything else, but I wouldn't really consider anything else to be honest. We've had an 041 and 034 and still have a 38 Super, 044 and an MS361. The 38 is a heavy, indestructable old saw. The 44 is a good saw. The 361 is a nice light fast saw with good power. It's the pro saw the 034 never was.... In my opinion you should stay with a pro series saw no matter what color you buy. The home owner series stuff isn't all that good.
