My quick answer is 80-90 gear lube. If the oil shows on the dip stick, at all and the lift works, you can probably use it without hurting anything. There is a six inch round plate under the seat on the right side of transmission case. If you take the bottom bolt out of the plate and only fill until lube runs out you will not overfill. If you do overfill the grease may run out the ends of the axel and contaminate the break shoes. You will find a lot of info in the 8N archives on this subject. There are a lot of YT people that know more about this than I but what I have said here, should not get you in trouble.
