Likely the coil but could just as easily be something in the fuel system. Blocked breather in fuel cap, restricted fuel flow due to dirty filters or just before float valve. As Paul says, check it out first before starting changing things. Good long blue spark would indicate it is not the ignition system. Removing fuel cap and listening for air going in, or draining the carb to check for full fuel flow for at least a minute might indicate a fuel system problem. On the ignition side, it could be a switch or connection heating up and reducing current, problem with contact spring expanding and shorting - so don't just assume it is the coil. Let's just say it is the most likely probability and go from there. Regards, RAB
