When I went though school for service station they said to save a little money keep an old distilled water bottle with a little in it in the back of the garage but just use the tap water to fill the batteries it won't make enough difference to worry about. I guess they never saw my well water. I wouldn't put that stuff in a good battery. I don't see anything wrong with your RO water its pretty darn clean. Walt
