DON'T get a cheap trickle charger. They are unregulated. As the battery comes to full charge, they just keep pushing more and more current till they boil the electrolyte out. (ruined battery) There's a variety of fairly inexpensive 'Battery Pal' maintenance chargers available that will 'float' a battery at full charge. I think there's one for doing 2 batteries at once, about $35 ? but I think it was 12 v only. Those are the phrases to look for, 'maintenance', float, regulated, automatic etc... Northern Supply has a good selection of battery chargers, many with the desired options.... of course, you've got 6V batteries, so that's a consideration too. Above is my nickle's worth based on experience and disasters. bbott
