Get a glass repair kit that has the cloth you need that for strength follow the instruction its real easy to apply be sure to sand the spot real clean. Yes the foam insulation spray will work very well to support the botton of the tub, the sides should be Ok but a little around the bottom edge won't hurt. Be sure to have help in putting the tub back in, spray the area then put the tub in before it hardened. Also you will need a Gel coat kit to repair the inside. Auto dealer or boat repair places have these. You need to get the gel coat so water won't seep though. also they have paint now that will make it look like a new tub. Walt PS loose some weight. giggle :)
