Some Japanese tractors, like my Mitsubishi have an adjustment on the 3pt linkage that forces the lift to 'neutral' when all the way up. If it is not set correctly, the hydraulics continue to try to lift the 3pt when it is at the top. Two bad things about that, one: the lift piston can be forced out of it's bore, jamming the lift. or, two the relief valve will open dumping oil back into the trans, then you have no capacity left for other circuits.
