You aint kidding on that sound thing!! The first time i fired up the 1600after restoring her, I just cracked the biggest smile ever. Same exact sound I remembered from all those years past running it on the sh!t spreader. It's gotta be my favorite one to hear running, but I think the 1855 is my favorite. I just like the way the thing sounds with a load on it, and with just a little faint black cloud coming from the stack.
It doesn't have much sentimental value either, so I can customize it as I see fit without feeling atleast a little guilty when I drill a new hole in the dash for a second light switch and fuses.
