Back about 69 I saw a D9 cat stuck in quicksand on Grandpas old farm. All you could see of it was the top of the seat and the stack. We went over to see the mess and there was 2 BIG semi wreckers trying to pull it out with block and tackle set ups hooked to big oak trees nearby. they didn't do it! Both wreckers pulled the front wheels off the ground tugging at it. They finaly had to pump out the water and dig it out with a backhoe. took over a week to get it out! Grandpa just chuckled and he told us he always had problems there and would not go over that ground in the same spot more than once a day.
