We have a really wierd one here in town that was built from the track assemblies of a D7 Cat with 2 Ford 6000s, one driving each track. The tracks are joined by a frame with a cab mounted high enough that you can walk under the entire machine and has a large U plow centered between the tracks. The rear mounted cab is centered and has controls to work each tractor individually to operate and steer the tracks and has hydraulic controls for the U plow.
It's used to harvest bare root trees in a local tree nursery. A man around here built several of them over the years but this is the only one that I know where it is. I've threatened for years to go get pics to post on here but have never made it.

In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999.
