I lost the key to my tractor and bypassed the key switch. The tractor sat for about two hours without running. The coil was hot as hell. Needless to say it wouldnt start and I had to tow it outta the field. Now I have no spark to the plugs. Do you think I fried the coil or is this just a freak thing. Does it need a switch (key or toggle) so the power isn"t running to the coil all the time.???? It has been changed over to 12 volt"s Another novice bite the dust......... Mark
