i just purchased a 190 xt series 3 allis chalmers, 1969 i am having trouble with the hydraulic fluid leaking back into the transmission fluid. there was a plugged vent tube on the transmission which i unplugged. then i took the tractor for a 2 mile drive down the road and rechecked the fluid levels, with the transmission fluid being slightly higher. i could not notice a level differance in the hyd. reservoir, also why would the fluid only transfer in one direction instead of the direction? transmission to hyd.
