Let's say you have the nicest tractor in the state, no matter what the color or model. If the only buyer who comes to look at it is only willing to pay $1000, that tractor is only worth $1000 on that day, and you'll likely keep it until another somebody comes along who will pay more.
I left a pretty detailed reply in the Fordson forum that should answer a lot of questions about that tractor.
