look on the engine there should be a serial number tag there that can be determined what year the engine is and presuming it is original would give the tractor year. The RTI was made starting in 1940 to 1955 there are a few thing that where changed on the RT model tractors that might narrow it down a little it was 1948 when they went to distributor in stead of a magneto and in 1949 the RTI came out with a one piece hood no hinged side curtains
