Never us the TA on hills, could be quite dangerous. It takes away your clutch. Never use it only when you have to. Never engage the TA while traveling down a hill, because you could easily tear it out.I used mine when plowing and once in a while ,bush hoging in heavy grass.The TA cuts the speed of the tractor in about half and keeps the same rpm's on your PTO.They're handy when you need them.The reacon so many are out is people use these in tractor pulls and thats hard on them,plus the tractor.
