I recently installed a new super hole 2 freedom fountain for my goats and sheep and future cattle. The goats and sheep do not drink enough during the day to really move the water that much. When checking the make sure everything was working well the other day I noticed penny winkles in it. Penny winkles as my dad calls them, are those little worm like larva that do zig zags and are said to kill poultry if they are happen to injest them. I really think they are mosquito larva. Anyway, what is a good way to get rid of these other than draining the tank daily? Someone suggested diamond copper sulfate by the teaspoon but I know sheep are very copper senstive and wonder if it may hurt them. Any suggestions? Thanks Joel
