Jared, The Onan engine on the 2500 is a model: NH-MS 1918C if sn 1446 and prior. If after 1446 then it is a NHC-MS 2313A. As Bob stated it is 22.5 HP. Years ago at least, parts were expensive for the Onan engines. Just a heads up: Does your 2500 have a curved cover over the hand controls? As a former dealer I hope that all these machines had this cover installed for safety. Gehl tried to make sure these kits were installed but I have seen them without. Your Gehl dealer can get one.
