1977 chev 6.2 diesel one half ton . bought it after fellow had head gaskets installed ground valves new rod and main bearings but would not pay for new rings It smoked like fogging for moesquitos. Put rings in rebuilt pump and it consistently got over 30 mpg. it had 4 speed overdrive transmission and would not pull the hat off your head but sure was a cheap running pick-up for most driving
