Didn't see just a D5 96J series listed but there was a D5 DD 96J series made in USA 1967-77, could have a 2 to 4 digit serial number, 105 engine hp with CAT D3306 engine. D5 PS 96J series made in USA 1967-77 also, with same 105 hp D3306 engine but would have a 5 digit serial number. Could be others that aren't listed in blue books?
