Can somebody ease my pain please? I've checked the wiring and replace the coil resistor with a 1939 Ford car resistor which appears to be identical to what was in the old machine but cant get voltage to reduce from 6.5 volts. I had the coil on the left eye of resistor but changed to right based on "Neil's" web site drawing but still no change. I got 6.5 in and 6.5 out and the coil(s) don't like it for very long. I saw where the resistor should be a 1 ohm type. Based on the way these old ones are made I get 0 ohms and since they are all metal with spring between how could you get any different. I thought maybe they limited current versus voltage. As you can see I,m lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bob
