I spent many years as a mechanical engineer and never learned much about engines. Now if you want to talk conveyor belt speeds, sprockets etv. I am your man. In the later years I did much AC and refrigeration. Also did other things. If your fridge stops I would be glad to come look at it as I do for lots of friends. I repair some and repair ice makers for them. 5 yars ago we bought a new Maytag fridge and the repair man sure isnt lonesome. Most of the time its a board here or a board there and the last time I didn't even bother to check it out I just called Herman. He came out in a few hours, looked behind the fridge and looked at me as asked"do you have a mouse problem?" Then he picked up the cord which had been chewed in two and wired it back together and taped it and said $60 please. I was so embarrassed I let the wife pay him while I crept out the back Moral of the story, check the cord before calling a repairman.
