I have an old 2 row mechanical setter I use with either. I also have a 1 row carousel and 1 row conventional that I will probably have to use from now on as all my kids have moved off all but one and he works full time in town. I have 15 acres this year, but have raised as much as 180 acres several years back. The last big crop I raised was in 98 with 63 acres. It got to be too much trouble getting enough help for all that and expensive. I have been raising what me and the family can handle, but now that is going to change as well. I don't much care anymore. My place is paid for and I need more time to work on this junk anyhow. I don't know yet what I will do. Who knows I may put out 20 acres or none next year.
