I wouldn't be afraid of running them. We've had rear tractor tires with cracks run for 20-30 years. Small fine cracks really won't hurt much, it's just an appearance thing. We've got Power Mark long bar/shaort bar tires on our Massye 285, 1 with a slit in it's sidewall. Can't see the tube yet but I don't think it's too far away right now. Those tires have been mounted on there since maybe around 85 or so. I was born in 84 so I really can't say as we don't have any records of when they were mounted. I noticed that slit probably 5 yeras ago and can't really say it got much bigger either. Definately full of fine cracks from being in the sun a lot though. The old Firestone F&R's on our 165 were really cracked too, but what did them in was a gash that my brothers put in it by running over an old disk hiding in the weeds. Ran them for atleast another 5-7 years before the tube played peak-a-boo. it's got titan's on it now and they've got fine cracks too, but we're really not concerned by it. Donovan from Wisconsin
