I believe the connections are light, sense and excite, but call your local alternator shop to be sure. Light should be open during normal operation and ground out when the alternator is not charging. It can be left unhooked. You should only need to attach the batt and excite to make it charge. Sense wire might need to be jumped to the excite, but I am not sure if this is necessary. Call your local shop, they can tell you for certain. Aaron
