Time is money. After I show something, and I do take my time showing them, 15-30 minutes. If I think they are serious and wanting to chat I might spend an extra 15 to 30 mins. I start by asking 1. Anything else you would like to know about ... 2. I appreciate your interest, I've got a meeting/appointment/etc at .... or I have to go to the bank/feed mill/ welding shop.... or I have to get there before they close. then tell them would you like to make a deposit to hold... or call back if you decide to take it. Im sorry but I cant hold without a deposit I shake their hand, try to be overly polite, always hand them a business care.
