Yeah I have a Cummins in an 04.5 3500 and it seems sluggish too....had the mpg upgrade and helped the fuel mileage a little, but still not near what my '01 Cummins got. Starting torque sucks and acceleration is terrible with 12k behind it. There's a programmer out there (Bully Dog I think) that you can try for free...just have to go to a dealer and they will install it. It cancels out after 3 days....I think I might try that before my next trip.
