About all the equipment manufactures have made a tractor with daul shafts some of the newer ones have went to putting a reversible shaft in to get both speeds one shaft will be 540 rpm and the other 1000 rpm. most old tractors just had 540 but as implemnts started getting larger they started putting 1000 on them and the tractors.
