That's a lot of canning, kind of a lost art today, nice to look forward throughout the year, something I'd like to get into, although I do process the tomatoes, freeze then cook down for sauce, never canned them before, always something new to learn. I enjoy giving some of the vegetables to friends/relatives just as much as growing them. Nothing like ones garden, an area I cultivated and planted grass on in '04 for the neighbor was a garden for 40 years, soil was real nice, no rocks, deep dark loam, lots of organic matter, would love to plant there again
