The inside of the air bag will move in and out during bale formation. Air is getting out as the air bag inverts itself as it moves along the shaft(pipe). You will need a new bag. I replaced mine in about 1 1/2 hours. Mine failed and bent the pipe it slides on. Had to straighten it out. Installation not to bad. If I can do it, you can. Bag for the 848 is about $300. For everyone not familiar with the these models, the air bag is like those used on air ride semi trailers.
