Yup, gottum here in Indiana too. My started to yellow about day 30... I cut on day 34. I normally don't pay too much attention as the Horse owners don't know what a leafhopper is and what is does anyway. Maybe I have been fortunate but when my fields start to yellow a little, it is time to cut anyway..... Is this the first 357HQ you have planted? I planted a field fall of 2005 and it is giving me REAL nice hay. Yours? One thought, you might have cut a little early if that Killer freeze in April got you. I waited until 6-9(West Lafayette In) to cut. Just cut on 7-13 as well. My yields are great compared to o thers, especially given we haven't had much rain....
