I have several collector cars and two late model trucks. I use a special scrubbing pad (bought at wallyworld) to remove bug splatter. It is basically a knit or fishnet like material over a foam pad. Works really well. Something else of interest--I saw a plant expert on a local TV program and he said that a tree didn't leak sap. The droppings seen under the tree, or car, was actually droppings from aphids. These insects live on the underside of leaves. You can spray the tree for insects and eliminate the problem.Thought that was interesting.
