Youre right...there is no adjustment... but maybe inspect the front piece that bolts to the front of the engine that the pump mounts to.. The piece is doweled to the block but check all 4 ? bolts to make sure none are loose and allowing the engine to "flex" slightly as compared to the front pump mount casting...If I remember correctly, there are 2 bolts visible from the top and 2 that are not too visible above the front axle...
