Well actually you do have to be taught. Maybe not to the extent of someone sitting with you and telling you but as you said you watched someone do it and figured it out, thus in a way you were taught. Did anyone show this kid how to mow?
The reason I say that is because my dad has a trailer up there that my niece and another girl are living in. The other girl wanted to mow the yard and she did the same thing this guy did,throw all the grass into what hasn't been mowed yet. The reason? That is how her dad showed her to do it. Kids nowdays don't learn at a early age alot because they are not given the opportunity to do things until they are older. Show them how you want things done. If you have ot show them twice, after that and they still don't get then your probably right, they have no common sense...
