Ford 4000 Brakes pre 1965

I need to adjust rear drum brakes on this tractor. At least i hope that is all....how do i do it? Do I need to pull the wheels? I looked the drums over good from the inside and cannot find a plug or adjustment slot? This is a 4 cylender gasoline ford 4000..6 volt. I would appreciate any and all advice. Thanks Robert Harvey
